About Me:
Born and lived the first quarter of a century in a beautiful seaport city on the east coast of China, known for Confucius culture, at present I am a Ph.D. (definition: an person who has learned more and more about less and less until they know everything about nothing) candidate in Economics in the city of Boston (the Beantown).

My papers have been published on Journal of Applied Business and Economics and have been presented or accepted by top ranked conference meetings including Southern Economic Association, Midwest Economic Association, International Research Conference on Business and Economics, Academy of Financial Service Annual Meeting.

Prior to joining Christopher Newport University mainly responsible for the newly developed core upper-level Mathematics for Economist course, I have spent 3 years teaching Statistics and Economics. The majority of my research is on financial econometric modeling and forecasting, portfolio management and business cycle synchronization.

Outside the teaching and research, I like reading, hiking, jogging, golfing, traveling and watching Star Wars (yes, a personal hobby).  Equally importantly, I am an unwaveringly loyal Boston sports fan rooting for the favorite team...
