Longhorsley Village Hall

Since the Longhorsley village hall refurbishment was completed in 2009, there can be no argument that the hall has come to be the centre of village life. We have continued to maintain and upgrade its facilities to a high standard. The village hall has events and groups that cater for all ages. The people that use the facilities the hall has to offer come from not only from within Longhorsley and the surrounding villages but from much further afield.
It has a large main hall, a smaller side hall, a large, fully equipped kitchen and a range of media and IT equipment - see below.
There is a car park, plus disabled access and parking.

Bookings
Both halls and media equipment are available for hire to groups, private functions and corporate events. Equipment is only for use in the Village Hall.
To book the hall/equipment contact Jane Gibson 788711 stephen848gibson@btinternet.com
Jane will advise on availability and cost. Costs depend on who is making the booking (private or commercial, local group, outside the parish etc), the time of day and whether both or one hall are required.
The user groups have regular bookings and private hire is made around those commitments.
Once the booking is agreed we will send you the hire form, which is to be completed and returned with payment, and the hire agreement, listing the conditions of hire.
The hall is licensed for most normal forms of entertainment.
If a hirer wishes to sell alcohol at an event then a temporary event notice will be required and the committee must be notified.

Why Not Start a New Group?

If you have a burning interest or expertise in something, why not consider starting a new club.
It could be yoga, pilates, photography, drama, bingo, computers, whist, Tea Club or ‘Drop in centre', just to mention a few.
The main hall and the smaller side hall are both available to hire - prices for non-profit making clubs start from the bargain price of £5 for a 3 hour session.
Contact the Village Hall Chairman or Secretary - contact details below.

Media Equipment
Longhorsley Village Hall has a TV, a projector and an amplifier & speakers.
The Village Hall has FreeView aerial sockets in both halls and internet access.
If you want to use the media equipment you should complete a "Village Hall Equipment Hire Request" form - available below.
Please note that charges only apply for Private Hire but Clubs, Groups and Societies still need to book media equipment in advance through the Bookings Secretary.
For full details, go to our Longhorsley Village Hall Media Equipment webpage.

Internet Access
Longhorsley Village Hall does not provide internet access.
