I have discovered that these common vases which are always attributed to Pallme-Koenig are Kralik. Ground-rim pieces by PK are fairly rare, and usually were made that way for the addition of a metal rim or ormolu. Similar pieces are in the Passau Museum in the Kralik section.
 Kralik's answer to Loetz Rusticana
The Kralik lacks the larger "knots" that Loetz used, but the bark texture is there
