Tango Glass: the Great Unknown

I have dealt with Loetz Tango, and marked Kralik Tango.  I would venture to say Loetz Tango is pretty well documented.  Kralik is another matter, since not all of its pieces are marked with either the straight or semi-circular mark.  And, of course, there is the circular mark, which appears on decorated pieces.  I am a "closet" Tango collector; for the most part vases leave me cold: too many, too puny.  But I absolutely love functional pieces: tableware, stemware, or toiletries.  Whenever I think I have an attribution, I'll make it..  PLEASE CHECK PAGES ON KRALIK, LOETZ AND RINDSKOPF FOR MORE TANGO.

BARWARE:
These "ladies' bars" are  delightful.  They were actually mini bars, with six tiny glasses and decanter!  Both of mine are prominently marked:

1. EGG BAR

2. CHALICE BAR

3. BAR IS OPEN!

4. LATE PROVENANCE MARK

5. A RARE SILVER OVERLAY CORDIAL..  I HAVE HAD SHERRY/MARTINI GLASSES ALSO WITH OVERLAY.

6.  THE SHERRIES ALSO APPEAR IN YELLOW.  IN ONE OF THE MOST SPECTACULAR MISIDENTIFICATIONS IN HISTORY, THOSE GLASSES APPEAR IN THE PAIRPOINT BOOK AS "AMBERO"!!!! I SAY KRALIK. THE SHAKER HAS A STUCK INNER BLACK STOPPER.

9. KRALIK MARTINI PITCHER

10.  I BET RUCKL.  THOUGH I BOUGHT AT LEAST TWO OF THESE AS "ITALIAN GLASS!"

VASES:
11.  LUCKY ME.  A VASE WITH MATCHING SHADES.  EXCEPT THAT THE "SNAKE" IN THE VASE IS BLUE, BUT BLACK IN THE SHADES. VASE: 13"

12. KRALIK  JIP'S AND VASE.

13. ANOTHER KRALIK VASE, 12"

14. KRALIK RED WITH BLUE THREADING, 10"

15. REALLY UNUSUAL COLOR.  4". THE CLOSEST I'VE COME UP WITH IS JEAN BECK.

Kralik 6: Straight mark

TABLEWARE

16. I WAS TOLD REPEATEDLY IT WAS "NEW ITALIAN,"  BUT LOOK WHAT I FOUND!

17.  APPARENTLY, THESE WERE MADE AS WHIMSEYS.

18. SUGAR AND SALT SHAKERS, MOST PROBABLY KRALIK

 19.  A SALT AND PEPPER SET ALL THE WAY FROM AUSTRALIA.

20. SALAD SET

21.  SALAD SET MARK.  OTHER PIECES DECORATED IN THE SAME STYLE APPEAR WITH THE SAME MARK AS WELL.

TOILET PIECES AND SETS

Toilet sets are extremely difficult to find.  One was recently offered on eBay, with its presentation case, from Puerto Rico, with a whooping price tag (it remained unsold).  I have gotten most of mine from Europe.  I dislike atomizers; let's put it frankly, they never work.  So I have gotten rid of those which came as part of a set.

22.  To me, that's a Loetz color.

22. But this is not; probably Kralik or Ruckl.

23.  GREEN SET

24.  DIFFERENT BECAUSE OF THE FACETED STOPPER

26.  RED SET

27. ORANGE SET, UNUSUAL BECAUSE OF THE TRAY

28. YELLOW SET 1

29.  YELLOW SET 2
