Brigham Young University has teamed with the Dominican Republic’s National Water Resources Institute (INDRHI) to analyzes hydrologic data in the country. INDRHI monitors hydrologic information carefully to prevent flooding during the wet seasons of the year.
INDRHI’s Department of Hydrology is responsible for the hydrology in the country. Therefore, to support the strengthening of the surveillance system, INDHRI desires to create a digital map to better monitor, analyze, and predict rainfall events.
