University of Belgrade (Serbia)

University of Belgrade (UB) is the largest state university in Serbia. It is recognized as the leading institution of higher education in the region by adapting to the challenges of modern times on one hand, and preserving what’s worth in its tradition on the other.

Teachers and researchers from UB's Faculty of Organisational Sciences (FOS) participate in this project. FOS is one of the most popular departments of UB with students – 700 new students enroll each academic year. It offers degree programs in Information Systems and Technologies, Management, Operations Management, and Quality Control and Assurance at the BSc level, as well as a number of degree programs related to the broad fields of computing and management at the MSc and PhD levels. FOS has intensive collaboration with other educational institutions and industry all over Serbia, as well as strong educational ties with other European universities (joint curricula, student and teacher exchange and mobility, joint activities). The teachers and researchers from FOS who participate in this project are members of the GOOD OLD AI research network, and have already participated in a number of international research projects.

UB/FOS is the coordinator in the GRASS project. FOS also participates in the specification of details of the project's overall concept and approach, in the development of the new models for assessing soft skills of students of different age using TEL, in the specification and development of the related ICT infrastructure and TEL tools, and in the evaluation of the soft skills assessment processes and results. Through research publications and other publicity activities, FOS takes the lead in the dissemination of the project results. FOS' contacts in other European countries, as well as outside Europe, help disseminate the project results in educational establishments at different levels.
