Liz May/First Year Review/2009

I heard about the First Year Review from the second year students and it sounded both time-consuming and intimidating. I told myself, "Don't worry, April will never get here" ; I was just hoping to make it through my first semester.
However with the help of my advisor, Dr. Michael Orey, and one of my professors, Dr. Janette Hill, and the rest of the faculty & students in the Dept. of Educational Psychology and Instructional Technology here at the University of Georgia, I have slowly been finding my way.

Recently Dr. Hannafin sent us an article entitled "The Importance of Stupidity in Scientific Research" by Martin A. Schwartz, and it struck a chord with me. Although I don't enjoy feeling stupid, I am learning a lot of new and challenging things, and for that I am grateful.
