 Dr. Meyer is a professor of education at California Polytechnic State University and an author of two books on gender and sexuality issues in schools. She publishes regularly and gives presentations on related issues including: bullying & harassment, law & policy, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) peoples' rights and inclusion, critical and queer pedagogies, to help develop safer and more inclusive school environments.
