About Us

Liverpool Terrier Club was established in 1933 by terrier lovers for terrier lovers. It is a Terrier Group Club proudly representing the 26 recognised Terrier Breeds in the UK today. Whilst there is no actual Liverpool Terrier Breed, The City, The Area and Merseyside has a strong association with Terriers.
The Modern day club has in recent years, like most dog societies struggled, however the current Committee are determined to put the club back where it belongs as one of the Elite Open Show Terrier Group events on the show circuit. With two shows held each year, February and now September the club will welcome new members and exhibitors to their new Venue.
With a plan to develop more assistance and facilities to members and non members the Committee see the club as moving foward
