Biography

I am currently a researcher with the Inception Institute of Artificial Intelligence, Abu Dhabi, UAE, working with Prof. Ling Shao. Before that, I was a research associate with the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence. I received the Ph.D. degree from School of Automation, Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) in 2020, majoring in Pattern Recognition & Intelligent Systems, supervised by Prof. Junwei Han. Before that, I worked as a master student from Sept. 2012 to Jul. 2014, under the supervision of Prof. Han in NPU. I received the B.S. degree from Honors College at NPU in 2012.

From Dec. 2016 to Dec. 2017, I was a visiting Ph.D. student in Vision and Learning Lab, at Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of California at Merced, under the supervision of Prof. Ming-Hsuan Yang. What a precious experience to work with Ming-Hsuan!
