Biography

I am currently a research scientist with the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, Abu Dhabi, UAE, working with Prof. Fahad Khan at the MBZUAI Intelligent Visual Analytics Lab.  Before that, I was a senior research associate with the Inception Institute of Artificial Intelligence. I received my Ph.D. degree from the School of Automation, Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) in 2020, majoring in Pattern Recognition & Intelligent Systems, supervised by Prof. Junwei Han. Before that, I was a master's student supervised by Prof. Han from Sept. 2012 to Jul. 2014. I received a B.S. degree from Honors College at NPU in 2012.

From Dec. 2016 to Dec. 2017, I was a visiting Ph.D. student in the Vision and Learning Lab, at Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the University of California at Merced, under the supervision of Prof. Ming-Hsuan Yang. What a precious experience to work with Ming-Hsuan!

Research Interests

My research interests broadly include computer vision and AI-related topics, especially saliency detection, few-shot learning, autonomous driving, NeRF, and multimodal AI.
