Khan Academy's library of videos covers K-12 math, science topics such as biology, chemistry, and physics, and even reaches into the humanities with playlists on finance and history. Each video is a digestible chunk, approximately 10 minutes long, and especially purposed for viewing on the computer.

GED Teacher Resource Center

This website is frequently updated with lots of information for GED teachers, including teaching tips and information about the GED test.
The website provides an overview of the assessment, the assessment targets for each content area, description of cognitive levels, item types,etc.
You must register to download the first and each subsequent chapter.
This website, while geared toward young children, is very useful for teaching early phonics and has many activities that your student can practice on their own.

ProLiteracy Notebook
This is ProLiteracy's tutor newsletter.  It includes articles, suggestions for working with students at any level, and lesson plans that you can use with your student or in your class.

This site has beginning manuscript and cursive writing with demos of how the letters are formed. It also has a great math section with table grids for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. There are also worksheets that can be printed!
