For Students

How to Become a Student

LVA-PW offers classes to adults who live or work in Prince William County and want to improve their reading, writing, or English language skills. The tutoring is done by our wonderful volunteers, and the only cost is a one-time fee of $50 for the initial registration and assessment. If you, or someone you know, would like to improve their reading, writing, or English skills, or receive help studying for the GED exam, please call the LVA-PW office for an appointment at (703) 670-5702.  Classes are typically multi-level with some individual tutoring available for specific learning goals. Class schedules are convenient for adults who work and have family responsibilities. Please call the LVA-PW office and let's talk about what you would like to learn!
