I am using the fab art of Elias Chatzoudis. To use his art you must purchase a license at MPT HERE. I am also using a wonderful freebie scrap kit by Lacarolita called Sexy Pirate. You can pick up this freebie HERE. The mask used is by SophisticatedSimone and can be found HERE. It is in the first group of masks on the page. My supplies which include word art and animation are HERE.
Let's get started!
Open a new image 700X700 (we can resize later) and floodfill with white. Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer. I used paper 3 and apply SophisticatedSimone_Mask10 to the paper. Layers-load/save mask-load mask from disk. Merge the group.
Copy and paste the frame as a new layer. Use your raster deform tool to arrange the mask under the frame.
Resize the ships wheel element 70% and copy and paste as a new layer. Place in the center of the frame. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Resize the treasure chest 50% and copy and paste as a new layer. Rotate it a tad. Resize two flowers 50% and 40% respectively and copy and paste them as new layers. Place behind the treasure chest. Duplicate and mirror the flowers.
Resize the pirate flag 50% and copy and paste as a new layer. See my tag for reference. Resize one of the pirate strings 50% and place on the upper right hand corner of the frame. Erase so it looks like it is looped around the frame. Resize the bow 40% and copy and paste as a new layer. Place at the top of the frame. Resize the gems 20% and place around the bottom of the treasure chest.
Activate the mask layer and using your freehand selection tool, draw a rough outline to resemble sand. Copy and paste paper1 over the selection. Selections-invert-hit delete on the keyboard.
Resize your tag and then add the word art. I resized to 560X560 pixel-smart size. Drop shadow all pieces of the tag. I used 3/3/45/5 black. Add your copyright info, watermark and name. The font I used is called Caribbean's Treasure.
Copy your tag merged into animation shop and paste as a new animation.
Duplicate the tag so it has 7 frames. Activate the parrot. I mirrored the animation and made him at bit larger. Edit-select all- Edit-copy
Activate the tag. Edit-select all-edit-paste into selected frame.
Run your animation and save as a gif!
I hope you liked this tutorial!
