Me and My Girls

I am using the fab art of Keith Garvey. To use his art you must purchase a license at MPT HERE. I am also using a super freebie scrap kit by Kerrys Kreations called "Me and My Girls". You can pick it up HERE. The mask is by Sophisticated Simone and can be found HERE. It is the second mask on the page. My supplies which include a template made by me are HERE.

Let's get started!

Open my template in PSP. Add a new raster layer and drag it to the bottom of the layers palette. Floodfill it with white. Copy and paste paper 8 as a new layer. Apply SophisticatedSimone_Mask10 to the paper layer. Layers-load/save mask-load mask from disk. Merge the group.

Go to the vertical lines part of the template, and click inside each of the lines while holding down the shift key. Selections-modify-smooth by 5. Copy and paste paper7 over the selection. Selections-invert-hit delete on the keyboard. Now delete the gray vertical line part of the template. Do the same thing for the other pieces of the template, using papers of choice. See my tag for reference. On the paper inside the 4 frames, I put a weave texture. Effects-texture effects-weave-

Gap size : 2 Width:2 Opacity: 40 Colors both black. Fill gaps checked off.

Copy and paste your main tube as a new layer.

Click inside one of the frames with the magic wand. Selections-modify-expand by 2. Copy and paste another tube by the same artist over the selection. Move it so her face is in the frame. Selections-invert-hit delete on the keyboard. Move the tube under the frame layer. Do this for all 4 frames.

Resize the flower 50% and copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the lower left hand side of the tag under the frame. Duplicate the flower and move them to the other corners.

Drop shadow all the pieces of the tag. I used 3/3/55/6.

Now resize your tag. I did 560X560 pixels (smart size) Copy and paste my word art if desired or make your own.

Make sure you are on the top layer of the layers pallette. (for animation purposes in a minute) Add your copyright info, watermark and your name. The font I used is called Teeny BoppinNF.

If you would like to animate your tag with the sparkle lines in my supplies see below:

X out of all layers of your tag except for the white background, the mask layer, and the vertical lines part of the template. Important: Make sure all your other layers are above these.

Activate the lines and copy the tag merged into animation shop.

Open my sparkle line animation.

Duplicate your tag so it has 4 frames.

Activate the sparkle lines. Edit-select all-Edit-copy. Activate your tag. Edit-select all-Edit-paste into selected frame. Place the first sparkle line at the top of the first line part of the template. Repeat so the first line is covered from top to bottom with the sparkle line. Do the same with the last line of the template. The center ones you can just put one of the sparkle line animations at the top and at the bottom because the other part of the tag will be covering it. Run your animation to see if it is how you want it.

Back into PSP. X out of the white background layer, the mask layer, and the vertical lines part of the template layer.

Open all the rest of your layers. Activate your top layer and copy the tag merged into animation shop.

Activate the animated part of the tag (background to your tag) Edit-select all-edit- paste into selected frame. Line up the tag over your animated part as it looked in PSP.

Now run your animation and save the tag as a gif!

I hope you liked my tutorial!
