Lazy Days of Summer

I am using the fabulous art of Dean Yeagle. To use his art you must purchase a license at CILM HERE. The scrap kit I am using is a wonderful summery freebie called The Big Kahuna by DigiKats and is part of the goodie train. You can pick up this kit HERE. Mask is by WeeScottLass (#255) and you can find it HERE. My supplies are HERE.

Plug in used: Muras Meister- clouds

Let's get started!

Open a new image 700x700 and floodfill with white. Copy and paste frame4 as a new layer. Take your selection tool and make a rectangle at the lower part of the frame. See screen shot below:

Copy and paste paper paper 2 over selection. Selections invert-hit delete on your keyboard. Bring this paper under the frame. Apply WSL_Mask255 to this paper. Merge the group. Add a texture to the mask. Effects-texture effects-texture. I used course paper.

Now make another rectangular selection as before through the middle of the frame. Resize and copy and paste paper04 as a new layer over the selection. Selections-invert-delete. Apply the same mask again to this paper layer. Merge the group. This is your water.

Now make another rectangular selection from the top of the frame to the middle water layer. Resize and copy and paste paper19 as a new layer over the selection. Invert and delete. Apply the mask again to this layer.Merge the group. Apply Muras Meister Clouds with the following settings:

Merge the 3 masks together and use the raster deform tool as needed to stretch the masks to your liking.

Resize palm tree 1 60% and copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the left side of the tag. Resize the straw beach bag 20%, the flip flops 30%, the red flower 35% and copy and paste them as new layers onto the left lower side of the tag.

Resize one of the strings from the kit 80% and copy and paste it as a new layer across the top of the frame.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Resize the deck chair 40% and copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the lower right of the frame. Add any other elements of choice. I used an umbrella and surfboard. Resize the sun 50% and copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the top center of your frame.

Drop shadow all pieces of your tag.

Crop and resize your tag now. Add the copyright info, your watermark and your name. The font I used for my name is called Mufferaw.

Animation: sailboat

Open the sailboat animation in my supplies in animation shop. Copy your tag merged into animation shop and paste as a new animation. Duplicate your tag so it has 10 frames. I resized the sailboat animation a bit. On the sailboat-Edit-select all-Edit-copy. On the tag- Edit-select all, Edit-paste into selected frame. Place on the water part of your tag.

Run the animation and save the tag as a gif!

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial!

Hugs,

Dee
