Lady in Red

I am using the fabulous art of Elias Chatzoudis. To use his art you must purchase a license at MPT HERE. Everything else is in my supplies HERE.

Let's get started!

Open my template in psp and X out of the copyright layer. Click inside the large rectangle with your magic wand. Do not deselect. Add a new raster layer. On your materials palette make the background/fill black, and the foreground/stroke the red color in your tube. Click on the foreground/stroke and click on the gradient tab. Find the gradient called foreground background, and floodfill your new raster layer with it.

Copy and paste the lady in red word fill in my supplies as a new layer over the selection. Selections-invert-hit delete on your keyboard. Select none.

Click inside the large rectangle frame with your magic wand. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with black. Select none.

Now do your side rectangles the same as above. Adding a new raster layer and floodfilling with red. Add a vertical blinds effect to the side rectangles. Effects-texture effects-blinds. See below:

Click inside the center rectangle of the blinkie box with your magic wand. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with black. Deselect. Do the same process with the top and bottom rectangles of the blinkie box but floodfill with red. Add the blinds effect to these using the same settings except check off the horizontal box. Click inside each of the small boxes while holding down the shift key. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with black. Select none. Click inside the top little black boxes with your magic wand. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with a gold gradient. Rename this layer gold 1. Now do the same process with the middle 2 boxes on each side. Rename gold 2. Do the bottom 2 boxes the same way. Call them gold 3.

Write out Lady in Red using a gold gradient in the center black box of the blinkie. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer. Copy and paste the doodle as a new layer. Place at the top left under the blinkie layers. Duplicate-mirror-flip. Resize and copy and paste the rose as a new layer. Duplicate it, and move the copy to the lower right. Drop shadow all the pieces of your tag. 2/2/50/5 black.

Crop and resize your tag now. Add your copyright info, your watermark and your name. The font I used is called Mr. Dehaviland.

Animation:

X out of gold1, gold2, and gold 3. Copy your tag merged into animation shop and paste it as a new animation.

Back to PSP. Open the gold1 layer. Copy merged into animation shop and paste after current frame. Back to PSP. Open the gold2 layer and copy merged the same way. Do the same process with gold3. You now have 4 frames.

Click on frame 3. Edit -Copy. Click on frame 4. Edit-paste after current frame. You now have 5 frames.

Click on frame 2. Edit-Copy. Click on frame 5. Edit-paste after current frame. You now have 6 frames and are done! Edit-Select all- Change your frame properties to 15.

Run your animation and save your tag as a gif!

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial!

Hugs,

Dee
