He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not

I am using the gorgeous artwork of Elias Chatzoudis. To use his art you must purchase a license at MPT HERE. My supplies which include template by me, daisy tube, and pattern fills are HERE.

Let's get started!

Open my template in PSP. Delete the credit layer and floodfill the background layer with white.

Click inside the large rectangle with your magic wand. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with the ESc09 pattern in my supplies. To do this go to your materials palette, click on your foreground/stroke color and click on the pattern tab and find the pattern.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Duplicate the lg rectangle frame and bring the duplicate over the tube layer. Take your eraser tool and erase the part of the frame over her head. Erase any part of the tube showing at the bottom also.

Click inside the cirlces with your magic wand tool. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with pattern ESc04 in my supplies.

Click insde each of the horizontal rectangles while holding down the shift key. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with pattern ES c10 in my supplies.

Resize the daisy tube and place one on each side of your tube.

On each of the small rectangles add a weave pattern. Effects-Texture effects-weave with the settings below.

Write out the words He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not in the rectangles. Click inside the left black part of the filmstrip with your magic wand. Copy and paste the male tube over the selection as a new layer. Selections-invert-hit delete on the keyboard. Do the same with the right side of the filmstrip but mirror the tube before pasting it.

Copy and paste the tube labeled "daisy tube for animation" in my supplies as a new layer onto the left side of the tag. Copy and paste the petal part of the tube and line it up with the main daisy part of the tube.See mine for reference.

Activate the white background layer. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with a color of choice from your tag. Apply dmsk0709 in my supplies to this layer. Merge the group and resize this layer 85%. Add a wave pattern to the layer with the same settings as before but change the black to the color of your mask.

Crop and resize your tag. Add the copyright info, your watermark and your name. The font I used for my name is called LDFinePrint9

.

Animation: The falling daisy petal

Copy and paste your tag merged into animation shop and paste it as a new animation.

Back to PSP. Move the petal part of the tub down a bit, keeping in a straight line.

See below:

Copy merged into animation shop and paste after current frame.

Back to PSP. Move the petal down a bit more, rotate it a tad with your raster deform tool if needed.

Copy tag merged into animation shop and paste after current frame. Keep repeating this process moving the petal down a bit more each time. I ended up with 8 frames in my animation. You may end up with more or less depending how far apart you move your petal each time.

Edit select all. Change the frame property to 25. Then click on your last frame and change the property of it to 60.

Run your animation and save the tag as a gif!

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial!

Hugs,

Dee
