Fading Love

I am using the fabulous art work of Keith Garvey. To use his art you must purchase a license at MPT HERE. The scrap kit I used is a gorgeous freebie by KatNKDA called Summer Flirt. You can pick up this kit HERE. The mask I used is by WeeScotsLass (#236) and can be found HERE. Word art is by me and in my supplies HERE.

Let's get started!

Open a new image 700x700 and floodfill with white. Resize element 14 35% and copy and paste it as a new layer. Resize the notepaper element02 35% and copy and paste it as a new layer onto the center of element 14. Using your raster deform tool rotate the paper slightly to the left.

Resize the floral element06 30% and copy and paste it as a new layer. Place on the right side of the notepaper. Duplicate it and bring the duplicate to the left side of the notepaper. Resize the other notepaper element01 35% and copy and paste it as a new layer. Rotate it a bit more than the first one.

Resize the stickpin 30% and copy and paste it as a new layer. See my tag for reference. Erase the middle of the pin. See my tag for reference. Resize the heart locket 25% and mirror it. Copy and paste it as a new layer and place on the left side of the tag.

Mirror the butterfly element and resize it 15%. Copy and paste the butterfly as a new layer onto the upper left side of the tag.

Resize the triple frame 35% and copy and paste it as a new layer. Place at the bottom of the tag.

Copy and paste your main tube as a new layer. A reclining one works best. Place on top of the frame. Click inside each square of the frame while holding down the shift key with your magic wand tool. Selections-modify-expand by 4. Copy and paste a paper of choice over the selection. Selections-invert-hit delete on the keyboard. Bring the paper layer under the frame. Select none.

Click inside the first frame square with your magic wand. If using a male tube, copy and paste him first as a new layer. Arrange tube in the frame, selections-invert-hit delete on the keyboard. Bring the tube under the frame layer. Click inside the middle square of the frame. Copy and paste the male tube once again over the selection. Place to the far side of the frame. Invert-delete. Repeat the process pasting the female face into the same frame as the man. When done, merge the tube tubes down and bring the layer under the frame. Do the same with the third frame, using the female tube alone in it.

Click inside the locket heart with your magic wand. Duplicate the male/female merged tube from the frame. Resize it so it will fit over the heart selection. Invert and delete and bring under the locket. Add a few flower accents and leaves if desired.

Activate the white background layer. Resize and copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer. Apply WSL_mask236 to the paper. Merge the group and resize as needed.

Now crop and resize the tag to your preference. Copy and paste my word art as a new layer onto the notepaper or make your own. Add your copyright info, your watermark and your name. I used the font named Oasis for my name.

Animation:

Activate the merged tube of the male and female in the center frame of your triple frame. Reduce the opacity of the tube to 70. Copy the tag merged into animation shop and paste it as a new animation. Back to PSP.

Reduce the opacity of the tube to 60 and copy the tag merged into animation shop and paste it after current frame.

Back to PSP...reduce the opacity to 50 and copy merged into animation shop and paste after current frame.

I think you get the picture!

Keep doing this going down 10 notches in the opacity each time until you are at 10. You should now have 7 frames.

Click on frame 4 to highlight it. Edit-copy. Click on frame 7 to highlight it. Edit-paste after current frame.

Click on frame 3 to highlight it. Edit-copy. Click on frame 8 to highlight it. Edit-paste after current frame.

You now have 9 frames in the animation.

Edit select all. Change the frame properties to a desired speed. I used 60.

Run your animation and save the tag as a gif!

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial!

Hugs, Dee
