Exquisite Spring

I am using the adorable artwork of Suzanne Woolcott. To use her art you must purchase a license at Gorjuss Art HERE. The scrap kit I am using is a lovely freebie called Violet Hill by Bel Vidotti. You can pick up this kit HERE. Mask is by Paci and you can get it HERE. It is the last one on the page. My supplies HERE.

Let's get started!

Open a new image 600X600 and floodfill with white. Resize paper 16 from the kit and apply the paci mask to the paper. Layers-load/savemask-load mask from disk. Merge the group. If needed you can use the raster deform tool to stretch the mask after you get the rest of the tag in place.

Resize the frame 80% and copy and paste as a new layer over your mask. Take your freehand selection tool (lasso) and draw a selection over the frame to catch the ins and outs of the leaves that are on the inner edge of the frame. Copy and paste a paper of choice over the selection. Selections-invert-hit delete on the keyboard. Bring this paper under the frame. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer. Duplicate the frame and bring one copy above your tube. Now erase the frame part that is covering her head.

Resize the piece of cardboard 80% and place behind the frame and paper layers.

Resize the wrap bow 60% and copy and paste as a new layer under the duplicated frame. Activate the duplicated frame layer and erase the frame over the bow part of the ribbon wrap.

Resize bow 07 55% and copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the upper left side of the frame.

Resize elements of choice and place them around the frame. I used leaves01, flower1 and flower 3. I also used one of Suzanne Woolcotts adorable new bunnies and tucked him in on the left side.

Resize the doodle 60% and copy and paste as a new layer. Move under the cardboard layer on the bottom of the tag. Duplicate it and mirror.

Crop and resize your tag. Write some word art if desired. Add the copyright info, your watermark and name. The font I used is called Silken BookOF.

Animation (butterflies)

Copy your tag merged into animation shop and paste as a new animation. Duplicate the tag for a total of 22 frames. Activate the butterfly. Edit-select all-Edit-copy. Activate the tag. Edit-select all-edit-paste into selected frame.

Run the animation and save as a gif!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!

Hugs,

Dee
