Easter Tales

I am using the amazing artwork of Elias Chatzoudis. To use his art you must purchase a license at MPT HERE. The scrap kit I used is an adorable freebie called Eggstravaganza by Monica at Simply Sensational Scraps. You can pick up this kit here. Mask is by WeeScottLass and can be found HERE. My supplies are HERE.

Let's get started!

Open a new image 600x600 and flood fill with white. Resize frame 2 85% and copy and paste as a new layer. Click inside the frame with your magic wand tool. Selections-modify-expand by 4. Copy and paste paper2 over your selection. Selections-invert-hit delete on the keyboard. Bring the paper layer under the frame.

Resize the fence 85% and copy and paste over the paper layer. Place midway on the tag. Resize grass of choice and place in front of the fence. Duplicate and arrange along the fence to fill in the empty spots. Erase any overhang at the bottom. Resize assorted spring flowers 50% and place amongst the grass. Resize the pink blossom2 60 percent and copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the left side of the tag over the frame. Choose another color blossom branch and place on the other side. Resize a bow of choice 50% and copy and paste as a new layer. Place at the top of the frame.

Resize two of the eggs, one 50% one 40% and place on the left side at the bottom of the frame over the ends of the blossom branch. Copy and paste your tubes as new layers. Resize basket 1 40% and copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the lower right beside the tube. Add any other elements of choice. I resized two butterflies 10% placed them over the fence.

Activate the white background layer. Add a new raster layer, and floodfill with a color of choice. I used #50a54f. Apply WSL_Mask115 to the colored layer. Layers-load/save mask-load mask from disk. Merge the group. If needed, use the raster deform tool to stretch the mask so it shows the way you wish it to.

Crop and resize the tag to your preference. Add your copyright info, your watermark and your name. I used Franklin Gothic Medium Cond. for my name, used the blue gingham paper as a fill and applied a fat gradient glow.

Animation: butterflies (optional)

Copy your tag merged into animation shop and paste it as a new animation. Duplicate the tag, so it has 15 frames.

Open the butterflies. Edit-select all-Edit-Copy

Activate the tag. Edit-select all-Edit-Paste into selected frame. I place them above her tail.

Run the animation and save as a gif!

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial!
