Don't Stop The Music

I am using the fabulous artwork of Ismael Rac. To use his art you must purchase a license at MPT HERE. The scrap kit I used is a fantasic freebie by Bluedream Designs called Club!. You can pick it up HERE. I am not sure where I got the mask I used. If it is yours please let me know so I can credit you for it. My supplies which includes a template made by me are HERE.

Let's get started!

Open my template in PSP. Add a new raster layer and drag it to the bottom of your layers palette. Floodfill with white. Activate the horizontal lines part of the template. Selection-select all-Selections-float- Selections-defloat.Selections-modify-smooth by 5. Copy and paste a paper of choice over the selection. Selections-invert-hit delete on your keyboard. Now delete the gray template layer. Do this process for all pieces of the template. See my tag for reference.

Activate the white background layer and copy and paste paper 6 as a new layer. Apply the EDBMask4 to the paper layer. Layers-load/save mask-load mask from disk. Merge the group.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Resize the record 60% and copy and paste as a new layer. Place it on the upper left side of your tag. Duplicate it and place the other on the lower right side of the tag. Resize the guitar 60% and copy and paste as a new layer. Rotate it with your raster deform tool and move it to the lower left. Add a few of the musical notes around the tag as desired and any other elements of choice.

Resize the Ipod 85% and copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the lower right of the tag. Rotate it a bit. See my tag for reference. Now drop shadow all pieces of the tag. I used 3/3/55/6.

Crop the tag and resize it to your liking. Add your copyright info, watermark and your name. I used a font named Aardvark Cafe for the word art and my name.

Animation: the ipod

Activate the Ipod layer. Click inside the white lines with the magic wand tool while holding down the shift key. Selections-modify-expand by 1. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with the hot pink color in the kit.

Copy the tag merged into animation shop and paste it as a new animation. Go back to PSP and take your eraser tool set to 4 and erase a bit of the pink you floodfilled the lines with. Go down about 1/8 an inch. Now copy the tag merged again to animation shop and paste after current frame. Do this process twice more, each time erasing down a little more on the pink lines.

You now have a total of 4 frames.

Click on frame 3. Edit-copy. Click on frame 4 Edit-paste after current frame.

Click on frame 2. Edit-copy. Click on frame 5. Edit-paste after current frame.

Click on frame 1. Edit-copy. Click on frame 6. Edit-paste after current frame.

You should now have 7 frames in your animation.

Select all and change the frame speed to 15.

Run your animation and save the tag as a gif!

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial!
