DARE

I am using the gorgeous art of Jennifer Janesko. To use her art you must purchase a license at CILM HERE. Mask is by Becky. Ivy is from grannyart HERE and is in my supplies. My supplies HERE.

Plugins used: Penta dot and cross

Xero- Fritillary

Let's get started!

Open my template in PSP and floodfill the background layer with white. Click on the large rectangle part of the template with your magic wand. Add a new raster layer and flood fill it with a color from your tube. Apply penta dot and cross with the following settings:

Now click on the gray area of the side columns with your magic wand. Add a new raster layer and flood fill those with another co-ordinating color from your tube. Add Xero-frittilary with the following setting to both the columns. Do the same with the DARE word art.

Click inside each seperate diamond shape with your magic wand holding down your shift key to select all of them. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with a neutral color from your tube. I used the light brown shade. Effects-texture effects- Weave. Apply weave to the diamonds with the following settings: ( If using a different tube change the colors to match yours)

Do the same with the small columns, and the long rectangles, varying your color slightly and add the weave effect to those also. *Do not delete the gray/black template layers*.

Activate the white background layer. Add a new raster layer and floodfill it a deep shade from the tube. Apply Becky_Mask042 to this layer. Layers-load/save mask-load mask from disk. Merge the group.

Copy and paste the ivy in my supplies as a new layer over the mask. See my tag for placement. Colorize the ivy to your needs.

X out of the diamond layer you did in the neutral color and applied the weave to, so you see the diamond part of the template. * Add a new raster layer* Click inside the top diamond shape with your magic wand. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer. Arrange the tube over the diamond shape so none of the background is showing. You just want the tube in the shape. Selections-invert-hit delete on the keyboard. Move to the next diamond shape and do the same thing, making sure all of the diamond is covered by tube. I just did a a random mosaic type pattern not in any order of body parts..lol. Now, make the diamond pattern you Xed of before visible. Make sure it is under all of the diamond parts of the tube. So you have in order, diamond part of template, diamond background and all of the diamond portions of your tube on top.

Add your main tube to your tag now. Drop shadow all parts of the template I provided. Not the layers you added. Crop and resize your tag now and add your copyright info, watermark and your name. Font used for my name is Vujahday Script ROB.

Animation:

Lower the opacity of all the tube pieces in the diamonds to 36 except for the top one. Copy the tag merged into animation shop and paste it as a new animation.

Back to PSP.

Bring the opacity for the top diamond back to 100 and lower the rest of the diamonds to 36. Copy the tag merged into animation shop and paste after current frame.

Back to PSP.

Leave the top diamond opacity at 36 and lower the next one down on the right to 36. Copy merged paste after current frame.

Back to PSP.

Leave the prior 2 lowered to 36 and lower the third one down on the right to 36. Repeat the process.

Move along the large diamond lowering each small diamond in order and copying merged into animation shop and pasting until you have completed the whole diamond. Frame 10 should have all the small diamonds lowered to 36.

You now have 10 frames in your animation.

Now we are going to reverse the animation.

Click on frame 9 so it is selected. Edit-copy. Click on frame 10 so it is selected. Edit-paste after current frame. ( we now have 11 frames)

Click on frame 8 so it is selected. Edit-copy. Click on frame 11 so it is selected. Edit-paste after current frame ( we now have 12 frames)

Click on frame 7 so it is selected. Edit-copy. Click on frame 12 so it is selected. Edit-paste after current frame. ( we now have 13 frames)

You get the picture I am sure..lol

Keep moving back through the frames and pasting after the last.

Your animation should end with 18 frames in it.

Select all and change the frame properties to 25.

Run your animation and save as a gif!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!

Hugs,

Dee
