Dangerous Curves

I am using the fantastic artwork of Ismael Rac. To use his art you must purchase a license at AMI HERE. The mask I used is by WeeScotslass (#98) and can be found HERE. Template is by me and in my supplies HERE.

Plug ins used: Cybia Screenworks

Open my template in PSP and delete the title layer. Floodfill the background layer with white. Click inside the sign back with your magic wand. On your materials palette make the background/fill properties black and the foreground/stroke properties a color from your tube. Click on the foreground/stroke and select the gradient tab. Find the forground/background gradient. Add a new raster layer and floodfill the sign back with this color. Select none. Open two tubes by the same artist. Go to selections- select all- selections- float, selections defloat. Copy and paste one of the tubes over the selection. Place on the right side of the tag. Selections-invert-hit delete on the keyboard. Drop the opacity of the tube layer to 26. Select none. Repeat this process with the other tube and place it on the left of the sign.

Click inside the horizontal rectangles with your magic wand while holding down the shift key. Selections-modify- expand by 2, add a new raster layer and floodfill with the same gradient you used for the sign. Apply cybia screen works quad dice with the following settings:

Click inside the large rectangles with your magic wand. Selections-modify- expand by 2. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with black. Apply cybia screenworks tyre tracks with the following settings:

Click inside each of the letters of the word art while holding down the shift key. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with the gradient you used before.

Copy and paste your main tube as a new layer. See my tag for reference.

Activate the white background layer. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with black. Apply WSL_Mask98. Layers-load/save mask-load mask from disk. Merge the group. Resize mask as needed. Duplicate the mask layer and merge the two mask layers together. Add a weave effect to the mask layer. Effects-texture effects- weave. see below:

Add a drop shadow to all the frames in the template, the word art, and the main tube. I used 3/3/45/5.

Crop and resize your tag now. Add your copyright info, your watermark and your name. The font I used is called Velvenda Cooler.

Animation: the car (optional)

Resize the car to your preference. I resized it 45%

Copy and paste the car as a new layer. Use your raster deform tool to rotate the car so it is pointing down a bit. See below:

Copy your tag merged into animation shop. Back to PSP

Copy and paste the car again onto the curve. Line it up with the first one (see below)

X out of the first car in your layers palette and copy the tag merged into animation shop and paste after current frame.

Back to PSP

Copy and paste the car again onto your tag. Move the car down and rotate it again using the second car as a reference.

X out of the second car in your layers palette and copy the tag merged into animation shop and paste it after current frame.

Continue doing this process until you reach the end of "road" . I ended up with 9 frames. ( you could have more or less depending how far you spaced your cars).

The last car should be fairly horizontal at the bottom of the "road".

Edit -select all change your frame properties to 20. Then click on the first frame. Change the frame property to 60. Click on your next to last frame (mine is 8) and change the frame property to 30. Click on the last frame of your animation and change it to 100.

Run your animation and save the tag as a gif!

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial!

Hugs,

Dee
