Beach Bum

I am using the fabulous art of Pinuptoons. To use this art you must purchase a license at CILM HERE. The scrap kit I am using is a lovely freebie by Kubivet and can be picked up HERE. The mask I used is by WeeScottLass #116 and can be found HERE. Photographs in my supples are by Jackie and you can see her work HERE. Accent tubes by grannyart are in my supplies HERE.

Open a new image 700X700 and floodfill with white. Resize framea13 30% and copy and paste as a new layer. Click inside the frame with the magic wand tool. Selections-modify-expand by 6. Resize the beach photo and copy and paste it over your selection as a new layer. Selections-invert-hit delete on the keyboard. Bring the photo under the frame. Now go to effects-texture effects-texture and apply a texture of choice to the photo. I used paper course on mine.

Activate the white background layer. Resize and copy and paste the tan paper as a new layer. Apply WSL_Mask116 to this paper and merge the group. Move to the lower part of the tag for the sand. Now resize and copy and paste the blue striped paper as a new layer. Apply the mask to this paper also. Merge the group. Move this mask layer up to the upper portion of the tag as the sky.

Resize the ships wheel/anchor element 25% and copy and paste it as a new layer. Move to the left side of your tag. Take your freehand selection tool (lasso) and make a circle around the open center part of the element. Resize the other photograph from my supples as desired and copy and paste it as a new layer over the selection. Selections-invert-hit delete on the keyboard. Move this photo under the element frame. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer. Sit her on the ships wheel.

Resize the welcome sign 18% and copy and paste it as a new layer. Place it on the right hand side of the tag. Adjust-sharpen. Resize the brass button and put it over the chain on the sign.

Copy and paste the sailboat onto the water part of the photo. Add the word art. Copy and paste the Indian grass as a new layer Place on the left side of the frame. Duplicate and mirror the grass.

Copy and paste the fence with the barbed wire as a new layer. Place the post on the left hand side of the frame. Use your raster deform tool and rotate it a little. Now copy and paste the single fence post as a new layer. Place it behind the frame so it shows a bit on the side. Add a few of the nautical elements of choice. I used the starfish and dolphin. Drop shadow all parts of the tag.

Crop and resize the tag. Add your copyright info, watermark and your name. The font I used for my name is called Waterbrush ROB.

Animation: the seagulls

Copy your tag merged into animation shop.

Open the gulls animation. Duplicate the tag so it has 19 frames.

Edit-select all on the gulls. Edit copy.

Edit-select all on the tag. Edit-paste into selected frame.

Resize the gulls and mirror the animation and paste it again into the tag.

Run the animation and save as a gif!

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial.
