Group: Story problems -- today we begin a 28-problem review which includes converting time, money, percentages, fractions, and decimals, and adding and subtracting negative numbers. We'll do three problems today.

Challenge: Bring 5 vocabulary words or something special you've been learning for the past week. If 75% of the group has their information then we will celebrate with a special lunch!!!
Results: Okay, we have a long way to go before we'll get our luncheon. Today only 2 out of 16 people brought their words.
Group: Landmark Supreme Court Decisions. We've been reading about cases following the Gibbons vs Ogden decision. Currently, we are looking at US vs. Darby. Results: Never got to this today.

Challenge: Our next challenge -- when 85% of our goals are met then we get lunch!!! We got 100%!!! We're making a stir-fry for lunch next Wednesday.
