Review Gibson v. Ogden (1824),
US v. EC Knight Company (1895) & Hammer v. Dagenhart (1918).
Discuss and finish last 2 paragraphs of The struggles of Labor.
Read National Labor Relations Board v. Jones & Laughlin Steel Corp (1937) summary and the court's decision. Results: The National Labor Board just wanted to help employees get living wages and safe working conditions. The Supreme Court's decision (based on Gibson v. Ogden) held that the federal government couldn't step in here because the case wasn't about transportation across states. Wow!
