For the past three weeks, we have tried out and written about our hard-boiled egg experiment. The purpose of our experiment was to decide which recipe would produce the best quality hard-boiled egg. We selected three recipes - two were based on participants’ recipes and one was from a website. Our hypothesis was that Experiment B would produce the best quality hard-boiled egg. These three experiments were performed by apprentice scientists in a kitchen at Literacy Action Center in South Salt Lake City, Utah. While the results suggest that at least one of these recipes will produce a quality hard-boiled egg, our results did not support our hypothesis. Interested in knowing which recipe was the best?
