Dr. William Brennan and Jennifer Bleicher (SLMS) from Farmingdale Public Schools gave a very informative workshop on using Social Networking effectively in schools, primarily in the Library Media Center.  TWITTER and FACEBOOK were focused upon, but insights to using Google Apps such as GOOGLE SLIDES allowed attendees to engage interactively.

Lidia Horyn & Carolyn O’Gorman from the Farmingdale School District gave a very informative presentation on using TWITTER in the classroom.  Attendees were able to set up their own TWITTER accounts and collaborate on how to effectively use this social media platform in their school.
