Fine Arts Camp, Sitka, AK

  • Organized and developed class curriculums.
  • Instructed up to ten children, ages 7 to 10, in multiple six week programs.

  • I created custom mats and frames for presentation and preservation of artwork.
  • I worked hands on with costumers, keeping track of and completing orders in a timely fashion.

“Petroglyph Mural” University of Alaska Southeast, Sitka, AK - assistant to Roberto Salas

  • I was a part of the design team.
  • I assisted in the execution of the mural from preparation to painting and cleaning.
  • The final project was a 420 square ft. mural that wrapped around the main lobby of the University of Alaska             Southeast Sitka campus.

“Fawn Mountain Elementary School Mural Project” Fawn Mountain Elementary School, Ketchikan, AK - assistant to                     Roberto Salas

  • I was a part of the design team.
  • I gathered materials for the project (paints and stickers that were used as stencils).
  • I assisted in teaching elementary school children basic art lessons and incorporated their ideas into the project.
  • The finished project consisted of paintings on the backs of approximately 7 benches the surface area was           approximately 4 x 5 ft. All of the paintings where images of bugs and their scientific names creating a interactive                 and educational display for the children.

  • I painted designs on cloths with fabric paint.
  • I assisted with the silk screening of cloths.

“Wild Salmon Mural” on a cold storage building, Sitka, AK - assistant to Ray Troll, Roberto Salas, Will Burkhart and                   Guillermo (Memo) Jauregui   

  • I assisted in painting, finishing, cleaning and installing the mural.
  • The final project consisted of two 100 ft. long by 8 ft. high murals that were permanently installed to the outside                    of a cold storage building along Katlian Street in Sitka, AK.
