I grew up in southern Vermont. I obtained my BA from Castletown University. I spent the following two years in the United States Peace Corps in the Kingdom of Tonga working as a community educator. Afterwards, I traveled around the world before returning to the states to obtain my masters degree from Delta State University in Mississippi. I lived and worked for several years in Mississippi before moving back to Vermont. I currently reside in the NEK of Vermont with my husband, son and certified therapy dog named Luna. I am a mom of a very active teen. I am an avid outdoors person. I love camping, running, hiking, snowshoeing, gardening, skiing and traveling. I spend every summer on the road with my son on a quest to experience all the National Parks.
