The Colorful Journey Continues


Her first one-woman exhibit, in 2001, was titled “A Colorful Journey.”  It consisted of her first professional-quality paintings, done as a student at the College of DuPage.  The paintings  exhibited at that show were of very diverse subjects, but had in common bright, energetic colors.  They were full of life.


She still loves bright colors, but over the years her work has become more abstract.  She loves to explore pure design elements such as shape, color, and texture, along with a touch of whimsy.  Her two most recent series, "Red Mountain" and "Still Life," both exemplify those qualities.
