ABOUT

Born in Phu Yen province, Vietnam, Dr. Truong-Hong graduated Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering in Bridge and Highway Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam in 2001 and 2004. Spending 6 years as University lecturer before joining Urban Modelling Group (UMG) at University College Dublin (UCD) as PhD student. Obtaining PhD in Civil Engineering in UCD in 2011 and working as a post-doctoral researcher of the project “Strategic Research in Advanced Geocomputation” at Digital Media Centre, Dublin Institute of Technology for 1.5 years before returning UMG in May of 2013 as a research scientist of the project titled “Rethinking Tunnelling for Urban Neighbourhoods-RETURN” funded by ERC.
