Lindow School is situated at the end of a country lane, surrounded by playing fields and open countryside; well away from traffic and pollution, and yet only a mile and a half away from Wilmslow town centre.
We are a community primary school catering for boys and girls aged 4 - 11 who are taught in seven single age classes of up to 30 children.
Our building offers a bright and adaptable teaching environment, with spacious classrooms opening on to practical areas. Our hall is used for assemblies, PE lessons, concerts, social events and dining facilities and we have a purpose built resource base for up to twelve children with hearing impairments.
Outside, there is a large hard surface play area, two large playing fields, an all-weather "stadium", adventure trails, interesting wild-life areas and more formal gardens and activity areas, including one specifically designed for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
On site, we also have a thriving breakfast club and after-school club. For more information, click here.
The school has received many accolades. We were runners-up as School of the Year for Sport for 2015. We were also awarded bronze status for being an ecological friendly school and gained our gold Kitemark for sport. Additionally, we have gained the second Quality Mark for high standards in English and Mathematics and a Kitemark for our high standards with regard to the arts.
Our school’s place in the community is well established and the building and grounds are used in the evenings and at weekends by local organisations. For details please contact our office.
