PTA events


The PTA holds a series of fund raising and social events during the school year. These include the Christmas Fair and Summer Fair, which raise significant sums of money to support the school and its pupils. These events are run by the PTA but depend on help from the parents to make them successful. Please help in any way you can.

Our Summer Fair is held in July and is our major fund raiser. Our Christmas Fair, held in December, also makes a significant contribution to funds, raising £2500 last year.

Thanks are due to all the members
of the PTA executive committee for their dedication and hard work and to everyone who supported our events. This emphasises the great spirit we have at our school.

Where does the money raised go?

Over the past few years, funds were allocated to various projects including:
    £5000 towards building of the 'Lindow Stadium'
    £2000 towards support of Music in school
    £1380 for erection of a new PTA shed
    £1000 towards the annual pantomime trip
    £490 towards the school reading scheme

Recently we have built a large outdoor shelter and are planning a project developing a nature trail around the school perimeter. 

Continuous fundraising is crucial to enable the PTA to support the development and vision of Lindow School.
