Yoga for You - Previous yoga experience required

Evening classes are designed to be accessible and suitably challenging for all levels of experience and ability, while still keeping you safe and supported. We will explore a variety of yoga poses and sequences, breathing practices, and relaxation and meditation techniques aimed at deepening your experience of yoga and maturing your practice.
Gentle Yoga - Some experience beneficial
Tuesdays 9:30 - 11:00 am
In this class we will take a gentle approach to the practice of yoga, emphasizing safety and comfort while still offering a challenge for all. We will focus on gentle core strengthening for back health; safe stretching and strengthening poses for joint and bone health; restorative yoga for deeper healing and emotional balance; and meditation and mindfulness techniques for fostering calm and well-being. Suitable for those looking for a relaxed approach to yoga, as well as those who are returning to yoga practice after some time, and those with injury or chronic conditions.

Linda Wallace is a certified yoga teacher who has been teaching since 1999, and has training in Kripalu and Iyengar yoga methods. She is certified at the 500-hour professional level and is a teacher with the Atlantic Yoga Teacher Training 200-hour program. Information on this program can be found at http://www.aytt.ca.
