I am an Assistant Professor for Finance at Olin School of Business at Washington University in St Louis.

I am also a CEPR research affiliate (Monetary Economics and Fluctuations, Financial Economics), and a member of the Finance Theory Group.

As an applied theorist, my fields of interest are Financial Intermediation, Asset Pricing, Monetary Economics, and International Finance. My current research focuses on

  • financial stability,

  • private and central bank digital currency,

  • currency competition, and

  • political economy in finance.
