Lincoln Snipe Fleet--Host of the 2019 U.S. Women's Snipe Nationals

The Lincoln Sailing Club, Snipe Fleet 567, and the University of Nebraska Sailing Team are excited to host the 2019 U.S. Women's Nationals at Branched Oak Lake August 24-25. Our venue affords excellent Snipe racing and the Lincoln Sailing Club is committed to hosting a tremendous event with spectacular meals and seriously fun entertainment.

Our club sails Snipe Class sailboats on Branched Oak Lake near Lincoln, Nebraska. The Snipe is one of the oldest one-design sailboats in the United States. It has a long tradition of excellent sailors and continues to thrive as one of the best classes in the world for sailors of all ages and experience levels. The Snipe class motto is "Serious Sailing, Serious Fun."

Our fleet has been active for over three decades sailing out of the Lincoln Sailing Club. The club races every Sunday afternoon in the racing season from May 1 to November 1. We run youth and junior races once a month to promote sailing and learning for our youth sailors. We support the University of Nebraska Sailing Team. We host an annual Fire on the Water Classic Regatta, for the current Notice of Race please consult Notices.

Join us for some great racing, great sailing, and great family fun.
