Through the past few years, LIMS Academy has transformed and established a legacy in the way children are educated. LIMS academy was founded in 2015 by Farina Rana. It began accepted children 2-6 years old. The campus is located at Hoover Crescent Islamic Center. Ms. Farina Rana received her bachelor's degree from University of Maryland in psychology. She received her master degree from University of Maryland in education and PhD as well. She is enrolled in educational specialist program at University of West Georgia in education.

Her educational philosophy is to cultivate the child’s own desire to learn. So that children can be enthusiastic and eager to learn and have some fun as well while learning. Children between the ages of three and eight are like a sponge, they can understand knowledge effortlessly, spontaneously and joyfully.  Theses years are sensitive and critical because these years act like a stepping stone for the rest of life.
Children will not only learn from one’s own experience but also will learn with interacting other children. Therefore, children will be placed in groups to work and learn from peers. Older children will have an opportunity to reinforce their own knowledge by helping younger children. The purpose is not to force children towards learning, rather, they will come, work, learn and play eagerly. One can understand the  secret of success through observation of a class in action.

Early Childhood Program
The Early Childhood Program has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the curious, exploring and busy young children between the ages of 3-8 years, the fun age for kids as well as their parents. This five year development span enables older children to become role models and leaders to the younger children and encourage the younger children in their physical, social and academic development.
Together they learn patience, nurturing and respect for each other. The desire of the younger child to “Do it myself” is enhanced and independence grows for every age.
