Trupil Limbasiya is a senior engineer (Cyber Security) at Desay SV Automotive Singapore. His research interests include automotive security, applied cryptography, information security, and malware analysis for smart city applications. He mainly works on security and privacy solutions for connected and autonomous vehicles. Before joining Desay SV, he was a post-doctoral research fellow at iTrust, Centre for Research in Cyber Security, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) (Advisor: Prof. Jianying Zhou). 

He earned Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, India in 2021. During his Ph.D. program, he worked on designing secure and lightweight vehicular communication protocols with Prof. Debasis Das and Prof. Sanjay K. Sahay. Before joining BITS Pilani, he was a faculty member at NIIT University, India.
