Lily Cottage

Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight
February 2008

A character cottage in a quiet little street that leads to a nearby stream with ducks and moorhens, yet it’s only a couple of minutes’ walk away from local amenities in the village and the Norman church. Offering cosy and homely accommodation, the cottage has an enclosed garden with glimpses of stately Carisbrooke Castle, just five minutes’ walk.

It is close to open countryside and centrally placed for access to island footpaths including the Tennyson Trail to Alum Bay which begins nearby. Most beaches and attractions are within a short driving distance or are easy to reach using local bus routes. Shop and restaurant are 100 yards, pubs are 120 yards
