Quilter's Holdall

Here is one of my latest patterns.  It's the Quilter's Holdall.  Great for organizing your stash because each Holdall can hold over 100 fat quarters!  You can store half yards and full yards as well, easily up to 25 or more yards of fabric.  There are two different styles that are available in the pattern.  The basic holdall is a soft sided one that is collapsible.  The second style is a more firm option for use as a project box.

Make it out of the fabrics you want to store in it.  So, make it out of batik, for your batiks, another one out of reproduction fabrics to store those, and the list is endless.  Organize by style, color and more.  Spend your time sewing, not searching through your fabrics, and the Quilter's Holdall will help you.

The Quilter's Holdall isn't just great for quilters.  It works wonderfully for many other crafters as well.  Use it for storing knitting, crocheting, tatting, cross stitch and more.  My daughter likes to put her doll and doll clothes in one so that she can easily carry it with her.  It even makes a wonderful overnight bag for trips to Grandma's house.

Once you find out how easy these are to make, you'll want to make several.  Ask for them at your local quilting store.

To buy copies of this pattern, please patronize your local quilt/fabric shop.  If you don't have a local shop, or they do not carry my patterns, you can find them at either of these fine stores:
