About Me

I have been gluten free since March of 2008. I found out that I have celiac disease through a test from Entero Labs.
My daughter and husband also are gluten free. My daughter had dermatitis herpetiformis, which is a rash that some
people with celiac disease have. We thought that going gluten free would clear her rashes up completely, but we have
found out since then that she has eczema and allergies, some which are severe.

My daughter is 17 months old and she is the reason why I am doing this blog. I want to help other people with celiac
disease and allergies. Everyday, for us, is a challenge but we are working with one of the best holistic doctors for her
specific condition. We hope that someday our daughter will be free of allergies and will no longer have to carry an
epi-pen. Short-term, however, we hope that she will soon be able to at least sleep through the night without itching
and go through a day without breaking out in hives.

On my blog, you will find a wealth of information about being gluten free with allergies. Because, for some people,
it is more complex than just eliminating gluten from the diet.

Please, feel free to contact me with any questions or comments that you may have.
