Free Web Resources:  Web resources can help supplement the information found in books and magazines.  Because anyone can publish a website, it is important to evaluate the information found.  Ask yourself:

Can you tell who created and maintains the site?  If you cannot, that is a bad sign.  If you can, take note of any potential bias the creator might have.

Can you tell when the site was updated last, and if it is being maintained regularly?  Beware of out-of-date content.

If claims of fact are made, is there any documentation to support these claims?

Is the site well designed and easy to use?

What is the domain? Noting the domain gives clues to the probable content of the website.
