Diversity, YA Lit, and Asia

How is Asia -- historically, geographically, and culturally -- reflected on our school library shelves?  This presentation will consider East/West differences regarding learning and foundational cultural texts, and then explore examples of young adult literature that represent or engage with Asian cultures -- and ways we as teacher-librarians can help students make cultural connections.
