COUNSELOR-STUDENT ALPHA CHANGE!

We are excited to announce that a new counselor, April Flores, has been added to our team and she is very eager to get to know all of you! With the addition of April, we have made some changes to the Counselor-Student alpha breakdown. Our school has grown significantly over the past few years and this new alpha split will allow us to provide a much greater level of social, emotional and academic counseling for each student throughout their high school career.

We understand that it may be difficult to transition to a new counselor (as we are also having a tough time "letting go"!) and we want to make sure that this process is as seamless as possible. Change can be hard, but we are here to help! We want all      students to feel comfortable and safe in the counseling office and we are sensitive to the fact that some may need extra time to cope with this change. Counselors will be working together to do what is best for each student and we encourage you to reach out to us if you have questions or concerns.

HOW TO SEE YOUR

COUNSELOR:

Students and families may email their counselor to   request an appointment or to set up a phone call. Students may also walk into the counseling office during school hours to set up an appointment with their counselor. If students need to be seen immediately, they should let Ms. Werre, the Counseling Secretary, know this when they are in the counseling office.

We do see students on a priority basis.
