We are a long established practice offering high quality primary care health services. 

We have a long history of providing high quality care to our local populations.   Our Rush Hill site is located in south west Bath close to Bath Community Academy.  Our Weston site is located in north west Bath, opposite the Royal United Hospital, Combe Park, Bath.

Text Appointment Confirmation & Appointment Reminders

Do we have your current mobile phone number?   We now can now send you a text with confirmation of your appointment time alongside a reminder of your appointment.

Changes to our Clinical Team

At the end of August, we bid farewell to the very lovely Dr Asplin.  We have been delighted to have Dr Asplin working as part of our team, and we wish her every success as she moves to a full time role in Radstock.

We are delighted to announce that Dr Ciaran Conway will be staying on with us.  Dr Conway will be primarilybe based at Weston Surgery all day Monday and Wednesday mornings.  Most Wednesday afternoons, Dr Conway will be based at Rush Hill.

August also brings a changeover with our Registrar doctors - At Rush Hill, we bid farewell to Dr Ellie Scull, and welcome Dr Ellie Hall, whilst at Weston, we welcome Dr Rosanna Rawson-Cain.

New 24/7 Telephone Appointment Booking

We are pleased to announce that alongside many other practices in Bath, we are taking part in a trial scheme of offering 24/7 Telephone access to booking an Appointment.

Now when you call the surgery, you will be given the option of pressing 1 to use the automated service to book an appointment with a doctor, or for a blood pressure or blood test with a the Health Care Assistant. Please click here for more information.

New Bus Route Linking Weston and Kinsgway

From September 2016, First Bus have introduced No. 8 bus service which operates between Weston and Kingsway.  This route may be of use to our patients travelling to the surgery.  For details on the timetable, please click here.

Usual Pharmacy:

We are now able to send your prescriptions electronically to your nominated pharmacy. If you have not done so already, please let us know your preferred pharmacy.  Thank you. 


  • You can book appointments, on-line, via the telephone or in-person.  Note appointments can now be booked on the phone 24/7 via our new automated system. 
  • We offer routine pre-bookable  face to face and telephone appointments.  So that we are able to offer the best possible continuity of care, we encourage our patients to try and book appointments with your usual GP.   Generally speaking, patients are able to book appointments up to 8 weeks in advance.
  • Same day appointments are available for any urgent conditions.  Please call as early as possible in the day if you require an urgent appointment.
  • If you are unable to make your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can offer the appointment to another patient.  Thank you.

Telephone Automated Booking Service

From 22/11/15 we have changed the greeting on our phone system.  You are now given the option of selecting '1' to use the new automated booking system or to wait for a Receptionist to answer your call.
So that we can handle calls as efficiently as possible, please note the following:
  • Reception staff cannot accept telephone requests for repeat medication.   This must be made in writing or on-line.
  • Results are not available until after 2pm, so please do not call for results prior to this time.
