LATE ENTRY only available SEPTEMBER 14, 2019  - 7:00 - 7:45 A.M.
MUST PRINT & COMPLETE LATE ENTRY FORM WITH LIABILITY WAIVER (DOWNLOAD FORM BELOW)
CHECK OR CREDIT CARD ACCEPTED - NO CASH
(Registration + Day of Event Walk Up Late Entry = $75 / Short sleeve shirt NOT guaranteed for day of event registration)
All Walk Up Registration Entries will be in last swim heat group.

EVENT: 2 Mile open water swim across Lake Murray at the Dam. The wave starts will be from the dock on the Irmo side and the finish will be on the beach on the Lexington side and will be electronically timed.

TIME: Check In by 8:00 a.m./ Late Entry 7:00 - 7:45 a.m.-  Lexington SCE&G park • Pre Race Meeting 8:15 a.m.

LOCATION: Check In & Swimmer Transport will be at SCE&G Beach in Lexington • 1888 North Lake Dr., Lexington 29072

DIRECTIONS: From Lexington: N. Lake Dr (Hwy 6) to the dam entrance is on the left just before crossing. From Columbia: I26 to Piney Grove Rd exit left to St Andrews Rd turn right to Old Bush River Rd turn left to Lake Murray Blvd (Hwy 6) left at light entrance will be on right after crossing the dam.

ELIGIBILITY: Event is open to all athletes age 11 and older as of September 14, 2019

AWARDS: A commemorative award will be given for 1st place winners:

2- Mile Open Water Swim
Men's, Women's, Boy's, & Girl's Events

*Awards will be mailed to the recipients following the event*

FEES: $40.00 includes cap, T-shirt and swimmer hospitality with entry by 6 p.m. on September 3, 2019.   Late Entry Fee - $75 (not guaranteed T-shirt) on Saturday, September 14, 2019.

SAFETY MARSHAL: Chief Sean O'Neal

SAFETY: Safety boats will monitor the entire course. Swimmers boarding a boat will not be allowed to reenter the water. Events end 1.5 hours after the last wave start. Any participants remaining at that time will be picked up by boat. Swimmers must wear race cap and body marked with swimmer number. For more information, view our Event Safety Plan.
