Welcome to the site of the LaGrange Challenger Bowling Club, Inc.
We are an organization which provides recreation for children and adults ages of 5 and over with physical and developmental special needs. We use ramps and bumpers to ensure the success of each bowler. We offer an environment that nurtures socialization and friendships, builds self esteem, is non-judgmental, and allows the participants to learn skills like turn-taking and good sportsmanship. It is a place where parents can exchange vital information about raising a child with special needs. Most importantly, it is a place where the bowlers can be who they are and have fun while the parents relax and enjoy their child's true personality. It is a good time for everyone involved.
You do not have to be a LaGrange resident to participate. We accept bowlers from Dutchess and its surrounding counties. We do not provide transportation and require that a responsible adult remain with each bowler.
We are 100% volunteer and are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We depend heavily on sponsors from our community for financial support to make the league affordable and accessible to all.
We offer a 6 week summer session and an 8 week winter session.
