What is the LGBT Community Collaborative of the Central Coast?

W
e are a collaborative project with representation from Pacific Pride Foundation, Gay and Lesbian Alliance of the Central Coast, UCSB faculty and students, and a variety community members. We are members and allies of the local lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) communities, and are working to improve community support for LGBT individuals in Santa Barbara County and the surrounding areas.

LGBT Summit

Feb. 6th, 2010, 12 - 5pm

The Central Coast LGBT Summit will take place on Saturday, February 6th from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at the Santa Barbara County administration buildings in Santa Maria and Santa Barbara. The aim of the Summit is to bring LGBT people and allies together to develop plans to improve the lives of LGBT individuals on the Central Coast. The LGBT Summit is hosted by the LGBT Community Collaborative of the Central Coast (LGBTCCCC), a coalition of service providers, researchers, and community members that has been working to identify and address the needs of LGBT individuals on the Central Coast. The event is free of charge, and lunch will be provided. Allies are welcome.

LGBTCCCC Meetings

February 1 / Los Olivos

Come join a group of students, faculty, activist, organizers and community members interested in making a positive impact for the LGBT Community. Currently, our meetings focus on the upcoming LGBT Summit in February and all interested parties are encouraged to attend and provide their input. For the convenience of everyone in the county, meeting locations alternate between Santa Barbara and Santa Maria, CA. Free food will be provided for those in attendance.
