The LEY HILL CHALLENGE is a Trail RUNNING EVENT held in October each year in Ley Hill, near Chesham, Buckinghamshire. The event stages 2 races, a 5km and a 10km. Both courses take entrants through the beautiful Chilterns countryside.
The 5km course is a lovely undulating course and is suitable for people new to running and speedsters alike.
The 10km course is a challenge with a mixture of terrain and a tough hill with around 1 mile to the finish. Each year we get feedback from entrants about the 10km course being fabulous and challenging in equal measure!
Entry fees are simple. [+£2 for 'on the day' entries]
5km: £7 for affiliated runners, £9 for non-affiliated runners
10km: £12 for affiliated runners, £14 for non-affiliated runners
This is a 'not for profit' event. All entry monies raised go directly to Ley Hill School. You are welcome to raise money for your chosen charity.
The event is based at Ley Hill School [see event location page]. The races take place in the morning, starting around 09:30, specific details will be provided in the race pack sent to entrants in the week before the event. We run the races one after the other so parents can enter an event each without needing to arrange extra childcare!
